Company Background

Return to Work PLUS was founded in 2018 following its accreditation from WorkSafe, which permitted Tennille (the company’s founder) and her team to teach their two-day ‘Role of a Return to Work Coordinator’ training course. Since then, we have expanded our value offerings to include:

  • Online RTW Strategy Development and Improvement Resources
  • Life and Career Coaching

Purpose

The RTW Plus service started as a labour of love. It aims to help employees who had to quit the workforce or struggled to return to their routine after a life-changing accident or injury. We help Victorian companies provide return-to-work equality by facilitating employees with the tools, skills, and knowledge to ease their return and continue (and enhance) their careers.

About the Founder

Tennille Gould is the founder of Return to Work PLUS, a business she started to help inspire people to go beyond their barriers and live their best life possible. She believes working and returning to work is one of the best ways to reduce your risk of long-term disability or work loss and improve your mental health. 

Thus, with a background in nursing and rehabilitation counselling, Tennille brings years of experience in helping people of all ages, walks of life, backgrounds, and ethnicity get the support they need to return to the workplace and restart their careers. By helping people stay focused on what they can do instead of what they can’t, she has accelerated the return journey for hundreds of workers in Victoria. 

Tennille is incredibly passionate about life and participates in various recreational activities, including water skiing, reading, and wine tasting. She also spends a lot of time with family and friends, a habit she feels is one of the reasons she pursued a career in counselling. 

She aims to help others regain their confidence, self-esteem, and optimism by enabling them to reach the best professional outcomes following their illness, injury, or similar tragedy.
